THE Stepping Stones Theatre Company, a drama group that consists of adults with learning disabilities, will this week perform their latest production in Blairgowrie Town Hall on Friday, March 12 at 7pm.
The group provides opportunities for individuals to express their feelings, opinions and use their artistic abilities and interpretations in front of various audiences.
The groups aim is to improve the performers self confidence, esteem, speech and concentration. The groups next production is an adaptation of Shakespeare’s Macbeth which is portrayed as ‘Murder in Birnam’.
The groups Chairman, Alexander Stewart said: “The group have in the past performed in Blairgowrie and are looking forward to their latest production. The group continues to go from strength to strength and recently produced a promotional DVD and I must commend the cast for their consistent professionalism and dedication to their craft. Time and time again feedback from audiences has shown the impact of the performances have seen audiences leave the theatre inspired and emotionally uplifted and the cast are looking forward to their forthcoming production in Blairgowrie.”
Tickets are available from the door on the night. Adults £4, children and concessions £2 and all welcome.
