The Mount Blair Community Action Plan is to be announced at an event at the Blackwater Hall on Saturday November 24.
The action plan for the next five years has been drawn up following a four month community consultation period which took place earlier this year and which culminated in a community open day in September.
Around 150 people attended the open day event which highlighted five key possible themes for development of the area.
These included the local economy and tourism; community facilities and access to services; infrastructure and renewable energy; roads and transport; and environment and heritage.
This latest event, which takes place on Saturday November 24 from 11am to 1pm, will focus on the major themes for future projects for the area as identified by the feedback received at the community consultation, as well as highlight how residents and anyone working in the Mount Blair Community Council area can get involved.
