Blairgowrie and Rattray Highland Games start preparation
Jul 7 2010
BLAIRGOWRIE and Rattray Highland Games Committee are excited to have started preparations for the 2010 event.
They are pulling out all the stops to make this annual event something really special after the cancellation of the 2009 Games.
Bogle’s Field resembled a boggy battle site at the start of September after an unusually huge plout of rain.
The organisers are hoping for a dry field in 2010, and lots of enthusiastic competitors and spectators to fill it on Sunday, September 5.
In order to get the wheels in motion, the committee are to hold a fund-raising coffee morning and table top sale in Blairgowrie Town Hall on Saturday, August 21, from 10am-noon.
