Situated in the heart of Perth on the banks of the river Tay, The Royal George Hotel has attracted guests from all around the world for over 200 years.

Its most famous visitor is Queen Victoria, who actually put the name 'Royal' into the George Hotel after she visited in 1868. The Queen was so impressed with all the hospitality she received she decided to rename the Hotel.

The 45 rooms are generous in size and are reasonably priced, from £60 for a single room B/B and £40 for a double room per person / bed & breakfast.

The new Lounge menu for the award-winning Restaurant caters for both luncheon and bar suppers and has a wide variety of Scottish food, all freshly made. Prices starting from £5.75. Dinner guests can choose from the table d'hote or a la carte menus. Vegetarian dishes are also available and an effort is made to cater for the younger guest.

The hotel will also cater for Weddings, functions and conferences accommodation up to 120 guests.
