Kinloch House Hotel

By Scott Marley

Kinloch House is a great example of Scottish Country Houses, which was built in the early 1840s and extended in 1911. The house has been family owned sine the Shentall family took over in 1981.

The Shentall family have tried to keep the traditional feel to the house by keeping the oak-panelled hall and original staircase, which leads to the first floor galleries.

There are 20 rooms, including four ground floor, and two suites. All have private facilities and are traditionally furnished to the very highest standard.

The house is full of antiques, fine paintings, log fires and fresh flowers. There is also a new Health and Fitness Centre as well as a Victorian walled garden.

“Our philosophy is simply, that from arrival to departure, your stay with us should be a memorable one, accompanied by an overwhelming desire to return.”
